“Reflections” by American alternative band The Neighbourhood is a moody electropop track from their 2018 self-titled album. The song delves into the complexities of a turbulent relationship, using the metaphor of seeing one’s own flaws and vulnerabilities mirrored in a partner. Driven by Jesse Rutherford’s expressive vocals, ambient synths, and a slow R&B rhythm, it captures the bittersweet pain of deep emotional connection. Thanks to its haunting vibe, the track remains a fan favorite and a viral hit on social media.
