Framing Strategy: Director Ángel Manuel Soto and cinematographer Paweł Pogorzelski specifically framed key sequences to switch between standard widescreen (2.39:1) and IMAX's expanded ratio (1.90:1).
Selective Transitions: Rather than switching frame-by-frame, entire sequences remain open in 1.90:1 to maintain visual momentum—such as Jaime’s initial suit activation flight into space and the final battle at the island fortress.
