Rasputin is one of the most famous disco songs by Boney M., released in 1978 on the album Nightflight to Venus. The song tells the story of Grigori Rasputin, a controversial mystic who became very influential in the court of Tsar Nicholas II in early-20th-century Russia. Rasputin was known for his strange personality, rumored healing powers, and strong influence over the royal family, especially Alexandra Feodorovna.

The lyrics describe him as a mysterious, powerful, and scandalous figure who gained the trust of the royal family while many nobles believed he was dangerous. The song also references the plot by Russian nobles to assassinate him, which became one of the most famous stories in Russian history. Musically, the track mixes disco beats with Russian-style melodies, which makes it very catchy and energetic. Because of its dramatic storytelling and unique sound, "Rasputin" became one of Boney M.'s biggest global hits and is still widely used in memes, edits, and social media videos today.
