Bridge to Terabithia is a coming-of-age novel by Katherine Paterson about Jess Aarons, a creative but lonely boy who befriends Leslie Burke, a new girl at school with a vivid imagination. Together, they create an imaginary kingdom called Terabithia in the woods, where they rule as king and queen and escape the challenges of school bullies, family struggles, and growing up. Through their friendship, Jess gains confidence and learns to see the world more creatively. However, a sudden tragedy forces him to confront grief and maturity, ultimately leaving him changed but stronger, carrying forward the courage and imagination Leslie inspired in him.c: osaudosista/tt
