Taxi Driver (1976)

Travis Bickle is a lonely man living in a city he can no longer understand.

He drives through New York at night, watching the violence, the corruption, and the people he believes have poisoned the city.

But the more he tries to escape the darkness around him, the deeper he becomes part of it.

Taxi Driver isn’t really about a man trying to save a city.

It’s about loneliness, isolation, and what happens when someone desperately wants to feel important.

And perhaps the most disturbing part…

is that Travis never truly knows whether he is the hero or the monster.
