🎬: Destiel is the fan-made romantic pairing between Dean Winchester and Castiel in the TV show Supernatural. The name comes from combining Dean + Castiel. It isn’t an official relationship in the main storyline, but fans saw strong emotional chemistry between the two characters, especially after Castiel rescues Dean from Hell in Season 4. Their intense loyalty, meaningful looks, and repeated references to their “profound bond” made the pairing extremely popular in the fandom.

Supernatural follows brothers Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles), who were raised by their father John Winchester to hunt the supernatural after their mother Mary Winchester was killed by a demon. The brothers travel across America in Dean’s beloved 1967 Impala, investigating paranormal cases and battling creatures like ghosts, demons, vampires, werewolves, and far older beings. As the story grows, the Winchesters become central players in a much larger cosmic conflict. They encounter powerful allies, including the angel Castiel, whose loyalty to the brothers often puts him at odds with Heaven.
