قطعه‌ی Snow Is Falling یکی از زیباترین قطعات کریس دی برگه، هر دو نسخه‌ی استودیویی و لایوش.
متن ترانه‌ مثل بیشتر آهنگ‌های کریس، توسط خودش نوشته شده و تلفیقی از ویژگیِ جادویی برف در تغییر دادن یک شبه‌ی مناظر، زشتی‌ها و اثرات مخرب جنگه.
در واقع کریس با چند خطِ کوتاه، دو تصویر کاملاً متضاد رو در کنار هم قرار می‌ده:
برفِ جادویی و پاکی که در یک شب همه‌چیز رو سفید و زیبا می‌کنه، و همون برفِ زیبا اما بی‌رحمی که زخم‌ها، خون‌ها و اجساد سربازان رو زیر خودش پنهان کرده و تبدیل به گورهای کم عمقشون می‌شه.

“Snow Is Falling” is one of Chris de Burgh’s most beautiful songs, in both its studio and live versions.
Like most of Chris’s songs, the lyrics were written by himself and combine the beauty and the almost magical quality of snow in transforming landscapes overnight with the ugliness and destructive consequences of war.

In fact, with just a few short lines, Chris places two completely contrasting images side by side:
the magical, pure snow that in a single night turns everything white and beautiful, and that same merciless snow that conceals the wounds, the blood, and the shallow graves of soldiers beneath it.
